I am involved in a variety of music projects these days.
Solo Music (as Wren) - Me and my guitar playing and singing a variety of folk and traditional songs, primarily Irish/Scottish/English in origin, but also a growing selection of Americana and Canadian folk and I am slowly branching out into other genres.
Birds of a Feather - Me and my guitar and also my kid and their violin playing and singing mostly the same variety as my solo music, but with some harmonies and a few songs and tunes that the kid wanted to learn and lead. We have been performing at renaissance festivals in MN and WI since 2019, along with occasional art fairs and other events.
WIlson Parc - Me with some friends in a band created and run by Jac Martins. Rock and Roll music performed by a pool of musicians with a variety of instruments. A unique sound at each performance depending on who joins in. Recent shows at Driftwood Char Bar, Day Block Brewery, CONvergence, and after hours at the MN Renaissance Festival.
Brian Boru Choir - Brian Boru Irish Pipe Band has recently started a choir. Since I apparently didn't think I had enough music things going on I joined it. Updates for any events will be on the Brian Boru website.
